Meet the Maestro

As a CD & DOP, I wear dual hats in my career. Firstly, I'm the Director and Producer at Liberated Productions/Black Cat Cinema, crafting compelling cinematic experiences. Additionally, I bring expertise as a DOP, known for detail-oriented work and mastery in digital cinematography. In fast-paced settings, I excel as a collaborative team player, driving innovation while ensuring top-quality visual storytelling.

2015-2017 Career Starts

Freelance Photo/Video

Founded a photo-video company in 2015, specializing in shooting weddings in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Returned to the States in 2016 to further pursue my creative passion. Before 2015, attended a small community college, gaining foundational knowledge in film and business, though without obtaining a degree. Immediately after, began working in the field after acquiring a camera.

2017-2018 Liberated Productions

Creative Director

It was a creatively diverse years as I explored various mediums. During this time, I produced commercial videos and photos for numerous local companies over two years. Additionally, I spearheaded multiple social media campaigns and contributed to building 20 high-quality websites for companies across Illinois.

2019 LP / Systemax

Creative Director

This was the pivotal year when I clarified my career path. I sold my company to leave Illinois and focused solely on directing photo and video. By the end of 2019, I successfully sold my company to Systemax.

2019-2021 Systemax

Creative Director

I transitioned my Liberated Productions clients to the agency upon its acquisition by Systemax to establish and oversee the photo and video department. Led all photo/video endeavors, concentrating on story planning, location scouting, project coordination, and overseeing production and post-production alongside a team of designers and directors.

2022 Black Cat Cinema

Creative Director

My largest campaign this year was for a company called pinemelon. I was the director for a 200k project that lasted 6 months.

2023 Black Cat Cinema

Creative Director

Produced smaller-budget documentaries and worked as DP on the upcoming Food Network show "Dig In" (airing Spring 2024). I also served as a Camera Operator for diverse companies nationwide, including Discovery, History, Butter Creations, Guerilla Capturing, Boulder Media House, and 7Cinematics.

Camera Operator

I hold extensive expertise in operating various camera systems, including Arri, RED, Panasonic, Sony, and Canon. Understanding the distinct color profiles of each, I skillfully utilize their features to create desired visual aesthetics for projects.
